It won't be as scary as it sounds but we plan to camp locally and teach the boys skills about being out in the wilderness. We'll have a bit of fun too!

We'll welcome prospective Troop 500 Members and also hold a meeting for their parents to talk about the troop and answer any questions! We'll teach the cubs about first aid, cooking at camp, and play some games!

Re-Registration for all scouts and adult leaders will start in September and the absolute deadline is Oct 31. We'll ask that everyone is re-registered by end of September.

This is our 'feast' campout and we'll again be camping in the Yurts at Camp Michaels! The adults will have their own Yurt so this is a good campout for new parents to get involved!

A great session at Mr Kowalski's house that started teaching the boys some important leadership skills and techniques - designed to make our troop better and the boys better leadres!

We had a little homesickness, a few hiccups with some rain and storms, but I think all of the scouts had a great time!!! Looking forward to next year!
